Even though Boo is 12, she has a naivete about her that makes me laugh out loud on a regular basis. Most of these are from today, but a few are from the past month.
“I think I might have hip displasia.”
“Can you and Daddy open a savings account at the bank for me? I would like you start with $1,000.”
“I think I can handle it. I did take one day of taekwondo.”
“I don’t know why you like men with beards. I’ll bet that is why Dad shaves his head.”
One of my favorites from Matt was when we were joking about my mother-in-law (his grandmother) going out on a date with an elderly gentleman from church. Matt was about 6 or so and says to my MIL, “You should go with him so you can hitch up your hotbox.” (I giggle as I type this) My MIL says, ever so seriously, “No, Ninny doesn’t do that anymore.” We still have no idea what he was talking about.
They entertain me so much.
