Our summer began with a few weeks of just relaxing and enjoying the freshness from the garden.
Boo had her first official majorette duties: helping teach little majorette camp!

Soon after that she left for 5 days to go to band camp and a nearby college. I did nothing and now wonder WHY?

Soon it was July 4th and Boo decided at the last minte to enter our local pageant. It was her first and we were all nervous.

Boo also volunteered at our local vet’s office to see if she wants to follow in that career path someday and brought home two new family members.
Does the summer seem all about Boo? Yes, but everyone else was still around.

Everyone swam as much as they could.

We didn’t take a big trip this summer, but stayed busy with band camp, church camp, two majorette camps, a volleyball camp, and the garden. We took pictures and visited family.

This summer seemed to bring Boo growing up right before our eyes. She is still a little girl but on the verge of being a teen.

Thankfully, everyone is healthy and happy, and we have started a new school year with great intensity. Summer was fun while it lasted.
