When I started on my 2012 end of year video I was afraid that I would have no pictures. Between computer issues and illness I’ve not taken as many pictures. THen I scrolled through the albums and saw the dance pictures, prom, baby pictures, and life in general.
I saw the prompt for the IHeartFaces photo challenge and again wondered what I could find. Looking through the pictures I narrowed it down to two shots. I finally came to this one.
We had many big events in 2012 but becoming a grandparent was certainly the biggest. This shot captures his mom giving him a kiss. They are so incredibly close in this picture, you almost have to stop to see where one begins and the other ends. Not long before this was taken he was pretty close to her too, him sharing her body for a while.

Congrats on an amazing experience. I became a grandma in 2011 and there’s nothing like it. Such a sweet shot, one you’ll always treasure.
